"Washing Her Hair" I had received a black walnut log from another sculptor ( Dennis Kowal ) He was also one of the artists to judge the sculpture “Sounding." He had been lugging this log around, like sculptors do, but he was a metalworker, and he had move. Funny I remember being disappointed because the log was old and somewhat rotten in places. In the end I really feel like it was magic wood. I got both ”Growth" and "Washing Her Hair" out of it, both won prizes and sold. Completed them sometime in the early 90s. Also.. I could make a Bronze Version of is Sculpture.. Thanks for Visiting..
