"Full Circle" by Douglas Bechler
Maple Wood, Walnut, Acrylic Paint, Bronze Powder 16" by 24" by 68"
"Full Circle" Grew from one of my little clay doodles in the early 90s. I got a maple log from the town workers that had been growing in front of the house. I roughed it out, working from my little model. I worked on the top first and then attached the walnut which had a check that I continued into the mainbody of the sculpture. I remember when I was working on it, Pam Pierce pasted away.. She had brought my first birds to Churchill's back in the day. So I thought Full Circle would be a good name..
